Construction of Government Primary School at Arla Querim , Ponda Goa
Architecturally the Building will be a contemporary structure yet sustainable adhering to traditional ethos expressed using local materials like bricks, Mangalore tiles, terracotta flooring etc.
The proposed building houses a Government Primary School consisting of four classrooms for standards 1stto 4th in addition to an Anganwadi.
The building also consists of a large common area for multiple uses including Midday meal, Audio Visual Presentations etc.
Classrooms as well as Anganwadi open out on to a secured courtyard which acts as an outdoor play area for the kids.
Steps leading to the first floor Multipurpose Hall also doubles up as an Amphitheatre for Children’s activities.
The entire building will have CCTV surveillance system, well segregated Toilets for Girls & Boys.
Provision for a multipurpose hall with a seating of capacity 150 people on the first floor.
Total built up area of the building is Ground Floor 707.00 sqm & First Floor 156.00 sqm.
