Full Renovation & Part Construction of the Old Heritage Building of Asilo Hospital for State Health Training Institute at Mapusa.(State Institute of Health and Family Welfare and College of Physiotherapy at restored Old Asilo Hospital, Mapusa).

The heritage façade featuring motifs, balusters, pillars and cornices were reinstated. The damaged heritage flooring has been replaced with similar patterns and the old tiles have been polished. The false ceiling, window frames and shutters have been replaced to resemble a heritage structure.

This Heritage building which was established in 1945 as the Asilo Hospital, now houses the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare. It was a challenging task for GSIDC to restore the old structure and at the same time maintaining its Heritage look. GSIDC has successfully delivered a strengthened heritage building with a rejuvenated façade with vintage illumination and beautiful landscape, thus retaining the ambience of an era bygone.
