Project highlights

The aim is to create a larger-than-life immersive experience of the Martyrs, for the guests and visitors, to leave them with a lasting impression.
1. Redesign the existing memorial by layering it with information and utilitarian spaces
2. Create a state icon on the historically significant site that celebrates a prime entry & exit to Goa
3. Create a venue for local pride as a place of recreation and reflection away from the bustle of the tourist areas
4. Help communicate a wider and deeper history of the Satyagraha movement in Goa through multimedia, sculptural installations, architectural spaces and landscape.
5. Communicate history through engaging formats of leisure and recreation.
The pavilions and cutaway spaces will allow us to explore parallel narratives, and sprinkle the site with Retail, Hospitality and other necessary visitor services.
