Redesigning and reconstruction of existing buildings and additional construction and new administration and training block for Fire station at Panaji,Goa.

Project highlights

• The Project consists of state of art building complex which includes: 1. Refurbishment and adaptive reuse of the existing office of the Director of Fire Services for the office of the Head Quarters of Fire Department, Goa . 2. New Building to house Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, Barracks, Offices and Administration Unit of the Fire Force Headquarters of Fire Station. F50 3. New Fire Station of Panaji. 4. New Motor Transport workshop 5. New Canteen and Mess facilities. • The proposed building complex consists of three blocks: Block A: Proposed extension. – (DFES, Fire Force HQ, Fire Station, Barracks, Training Centre) Block B: Existing building that is retained and refurbished (Fire Control and Fire Force HQ) Block C: Proposed canteen block with M.T workshop The proposed building complex accommodates: • Fire station with parking spaces for 43 four-wheelers and 50 two-wheelers along with an Appliance bay that provides parking for the required fire-fighting appliances • Fire Force Head Quarters: Total 19 nos. including cabins for Addl. Director, Deputy Director, Divisional Office and Asst. Divisional Officer, along with office space for their respective clerical staff. • Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services including cabin space for Director, along with office space for staff, • Administration Department: Total 14 nos. including cabin space for Deputy Director, along with office space for staff, and a library. • Accounts Department: Total 12 nos. including cabin for Asst. Accounts Officer along with office space for clerical staff and cashier, and an arrangement for keeping treasury. •Fire Prevention Cell: Total 6 nos. including office space for Officers and Fire Personnel, and space for Reception. •Communication Cell: Total 12 nos. including office space for Officers and Fire Personnel and space for control room for communication equipments. • Motor Transport Section: Total 6 nos. including office space for Officers and Fire Personnel and space for a mechanical store. • Yard Section: Total 7 nos. including office space for Officers and Fire Personnel and space to keep Housekeeping Equipments.
